About Private Events:

Menu Options
Menus are generally based off of the monthly a la carte menu. Family Style three course meals begin at $35 per person. A La Carte three course meals start at $40 per person. Passed h’ors d’oeuvres, cheese plates, and other light cocktail hour foods are available upon request. All menus are created and finalized in direct consultation with the chef.

For groups of over 15, we require a limited menu (usually 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts), and children’s menus (12 yrs old and under) are available upon request.

Wine/Drinks
As a byob restaurant, we do not offer alcoholic beverages. However, guests may bring whatever they would like to drink. Wine, beer, champagne, etc may be dropped off in advance of the event after 4:00 any day but Monday. For larger parties we recommend that drinks be dropped off two days in advance to allow for proper chilling. We do not carry cocktail mixers in house but can make arrangements if requested. Soft drinks (coke, diet coke, orangiata, ginger beer, bottled water) are available.

There is no room charge, but a service fee may be assessed for smaller groups.

We require a $200 deposit, refundable with 2 week’s notice of cancelations.

For recommendations for Cakes and/or Flowers, please contact the restaurant.

Bistro 7 is an elegant, food-first American BYO bistro located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic Old City section. Chef/Owner Michael O’Halloran (formerly of Fork and the White Dog Café) relies on a network of local, organic farmers for the pristine ingredients that form the basis for his eclectic American bistro dishes, and the ever changing menu reflects the best that the season has to offer. The understated, minimalist décor features white linen tablecloths, filigreed heirloom flatware and graceful stemware, and the open kitchen provides an intimate glimpse of the chefs at work.
